If I ever happen to have too much free time, I'll try some DZR experiments and bring a roll of tape with me. That should work well for testing by taping over the inlet openings.
My guess is that you wouldn't see this in the data logging system (DZS), because the temperature increase within those 6 seconds wouldn't be extreme enough to make a difference.
"However, it's likely that you would notice a difference at maximum speed – because you are running the engine at full throttle for an extended period with corresponding intake temperatures."
