I'm happy again!!!
That's good to hear...
Is it due to the VTG rod?
Yeah, that's probably because you twisted the rod randomly before.
How can I best set it up?
Trail and Error
Neee, geh mal auf Stellgliedtest. Dann sollte er das VTG schon mal von Anschlag zu Anschlag fahren. Okay, bitte gib mir den deutschen Text, den du übersetzt haben möchtest.
Then, take it for a test drive and see which maximum performance level it doesn't reach (with minimal pressure versus full pressure).
If both maximum values are reached, observe the boost pressure build-up. If there is significant overshoot, reduce the boost. If the build-up is slow, adjust it to be more aggressive.

Private.

Okay, I've adjusted it so that the actual pressure now roughly matches the target pressure in group 11. It's running really well. But in another post, I read that in the last column of group 11, under full load in 4th gear, for example, the duty cycle should be 85-90%. But in my case, it's always a maximum of 75%???? Is that bad? Also, I just bought a tuning box that you plug in front of the fuel injection pump. It's supposed to add about 20 horsepower, and it has an adjustment screw that allows you to increase the fuel injection amount, which causes it to smoke a lot. But even then, I don't notice a significant increase in power. Shouldn't you notice a clear change with both of these things?
Best, Chriss.

As long as the overdraft is always resolved quickly, it's not a big deal.
When running at full throttle, the variable geometry turbocharger (VTG) must always open further as the engine speed increases, to prevent the boost pressure from exceeding the target level. Therefore, the duty cycle also changes in order to maintain a constant pressure.

It supposedly adds about 20 horsepower, and it has an adjustment screw that allows you to increase the fuel injection amount so much that it makes the engine extremely noisy. But even then, you don't notice a significant increase in power. Shouldn't you notice a clear change with both parts, or? |
"Merken" = Popometer = unreliable.
For example, take the DZR test, which is more reliable and objective . Gruß Ulf

This is the speed calculator developed by Ulf, which has proven to be very reliable and reproducible.
It's an Excel sheet and can be found among the technical articles. Instructions on how to use it are also available in the technical articles section.

Hello, I now have an Audi A4, model year 05/01 (the latest model) with a Pd engine and 130 horsepower. I believe the engine code is ABX, but I'm not entirely sure.
'So, the engine shakes when idling when it's cold, but very severely, which is not normal. It then has an idle speed variation of up to 300 RPM! Also, it makes a lot of noise. VW said it's the piezo injectors, but could it be something else? Oh, and when it's warm, it idles well, but if you give it a sudden burst of gas, it drops about 200 RPM a few seconds later and then runs normally again.'
There are no error codes stored in the system.
'First, the ECON function on the climate control system cannot be turned off, meaning the climate control system is no longer working. The error memory for the climate control system contains the following information:'
819
High-pressure generator G65.
29-00
Short circuit to ground.
It might be defective, or a cable might be disconnected.
Can someone tell me where this sensor is located on the car and what it's used for?
Thanks in advance, see you later...

Okay, I now know what a high-pressure sender is used for, but can anyone tell me where that part is located on the car?
High-pressure generators.
The pressure sensor generates a square wave signal when a voltage is applied. This signal changes according to the pressure within the system.
This signal allows the downstream control units (e.g., coolant fan control unit, engine control unit) to calculate the pressure in the refrigerant circuit and, accordingly, control the magnetic clutch, the coolant fans, and the engine.
