Is it okay to spray silicone oil onto the bearing of the control arm?

If you're hearing a clunking sound from the front axle, it sounds to me like a worn-out joint or shock absorber. What's supposed to help with that using silicone oil?

Have you also checked if anything is loose in the engine compartment or if the engine mounts are in good condition?

Do you have lowered suspension and/or wider tires?
Of course, it puts a much higher strain on the joints!
