Hi.

I don't really care for theoretical philosophical discussions about the 'to be or not to be' question!

Has anyone here ever tried poking small holes (sizes 1, 2, or 3) into the sensor hose to slightly increase the boost pressure in order to further reduce soot emissions?
The soot emissions have already decreased after I installed the AFN injectors, even though I expected the opposite. So, it seems like a small adjustment could make all Peugeots environmentally friendly, right?

However, it can save you a lot of work and expensive damage.
Especially when it's clear that no one has ever tried something like that before.

Okay, I'll just quickly get in touch.

I have a boost pressure gauge installed. Just for fun, I added a T-connector to it and attached a 10 cm long hose to the connector, with a crimp fitting at the end.

I've tried everything from allowing a lot to pass through to almost nothing, but it hasn't really made any difference.
The turbo either runs at a very minimal level or is fully engaged, making it difficult to control. Without holes and without a boost pressure gauge, it will be impossible to regulate the boost... so avoid using it, and instead, install a larger resistor behind the boost pressure sensor in the engine control unit!
