'Defective clutch cylinders are a relatively common issue, especially in the Ibiza models equipped with the ASZ engine.' Oil is leaking, and then the clutch slips.
...this has also happened to vehicles that were not chipped.
.....the driving style is at least just as important as whether the car is chipped or in its original state!!....I sold my Ibiza after only 11 months with just 30,000 km on the clock......allegedly with 171 hp/405 Nm according to a DZR test (chipping.de).....but I only had problems....I made sure to properly break it in, warm it up properly, and avoid aggressive starts!! Still, just problems.
....my Leon Topsport TDI 130PS (which is only available in the Netherlands
) is arriving in early January.
...I'll definitely get that done right away, but this time I'm going to use a reputable tuner; I have concerns about having it done by someone I don't trust.
