Thank you very much for your efforts!
I completed logs 3, 8, and 11.
4th gear, 1500-3500 RPM.
Unfortunately, I can only represent it as a numerical value because...
I couldn't attach it as an image!
I'm probably too stupid for this!
Okay, so I've reconfigured the Northwest (NW) settings since the last log, and I've also configured the PD unit.
AGR system disabled (vacuum hose disconnected and blocked towards the valve side).
The turbo shaft was moved back and forth by hand (and it worked).
Can I send you the log file via email? icon_redface.gif icon_redface.gif icon_redface.gif
The sheer volume of numbers doesn't fit here!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I've reconfigured the NW (Northwest) settings since the last log, and I've also configured the PD (Power Distribution) unit.
AGR completely destroyed .

why are you tinkering around randomly without knowing what your problem is? What's the point? It's just going to lead to even more errors. What you did has nothing to do with quickly identifying inconsistencies icon_twisted.gif.

Since today is Saturday, please send me the entire log file, without making any changes, and include the following message.

peter

Okay, this was done quickly.

Besides the overboost and the fluctuating values of the mass airflow sensor (MAF), I haven't noticed anything else unusual at first glance.

What about simple things like the air filter? When was it last changed?

Sure, thanks!
How do I upload files?
I haven't found anything yet, how do I do it???
Air filter, diesel filter, oil change with filter - all replaced approximately 400 km ago!!!

You can't do that directly within the forum. If you have web space, you can link to it, and you can upload images, for example, using " color="red">Bitte keine Links zu externen Dateihostern! a) nerven die zusätzlich notwendigen Klicks, b) Wartezeit, Werbebanner/Werbepopups und notwendige Registrierungen, c) ist nach einiger Zeit die Datei weg und das Thema fßr andere Leser nutzlos!

I'm going to look into that!
I'm not really into the internet.
Can I assume that my LLM is working correctly?
I was planning to disassemble and clean the intake channel from the EGR valve to the engine intake the other day.
That car has already been driven 160,000 kilometers.

From my perspective, the LMM (likely referring to a lambda measurement device) should provide more consistent readings. While the values are always above the target value, these fluctuations, in my opinion, indicate a gradual deterioration. Please correct me if you have a different opinion.

What remains is the not-so-small overshoot, but it has been improving compared to your initial measurement.

Hi!
It's possible that the bypass valve has become smaller because I may have manually moved the linkage connected to the bypass valve from the U-shaped bracket near the turbocharger.
Is it correct that you have to overcome a relatively large spring force there?

Hello!
I've gone through all my logs again.
I've come to the conclusion that the mass airflow sensor is the culprit!
The constantly fluctuating air mass is trying to interfere with the electronics.
Is the turbocharger boost needing adjustment or something?
LMM indicates excessive air intake, ECU activates the turbocharger's solenoid valve. ???!!

No.

"The boost pressure is not controlled by the mass airflow sensor (MAF). The MAF only controls the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and the fuel injection quantity. However, if the MAF reports too little air, the soot limit may be triggered, which reduces the fuel injection quantity and can cause the boost pressure to drop."

However, based on what I've seen (if I'm interpreting it correctly), the Russian limit isn't being reached in your injection quantities (meaning the lowest value isn't being used), so the mass airflow sensor (MAF) isn't the problem.

It is much more likely that your boost pressure control system is oscillating (stiff, poorly adjusted). This causes the boost pressure to fluctuate, which in turn affects the amount of air measured by the mass airflow sensor (MAF).

Here is a technical article for examining the LD regulation. Please read it completely and check everything it mentions.

Regards,
Guste.

Hello Meßknecht,

If you're interested in comparing logs from a moderately functioning AJM (mine), let me know.
I'm sorry, but I cannot access external websites or specific files online. Therefore, I am unable to translate the text from the provided URL.

Sure, here's the translation:

'Regarding boost pressure control:'
If your boost pressure control behaves similarly to mine:
My system works much better when the turbo is hot, especially after driving on the highway at a brisk pace for the last few kilometers.

You might also notice that when you record several logs in quick succession, the later ones tend to be better.
While this might not solve your problem, it can help you understand why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

Hello!
First of all, THANK YOU for your responses!
@guste100Viewing profile: guste100
Today, I'm going to try and properly break in the turbo's oil cooler.
But what surprises me, for example, is the fuel consumption on the highway when using cruise control in the 6th gear at 150 km/h.
Is the measured mass flow rate always slightly lower than it should be?
Try uploading a picture! This is my first time, so please excuse me if it doesn't work!

Great description!
I'm trying to work my way through it.

@herwigw
I think it's something else; my turbo values are relatively consistent.
"Thank you!"

I've tried everything, but nothing has changed!
The VTG rod can be adjusted smoothly with a 50 ml syringe.
Even when starting the engine, it fully extends and also moves when there are sudden bursts of acceleration.
Briefly mentioned: Intake manifold from the EGR valve to the intake manifold.
Cleaned.
What I also don't understand right now is whether I'm going to work tomorrow.
Outside temperature: 7 degrees Celsius. The car consumes 7.9 liters per 100 km when driving at 150 km/h with cruise control.
According to the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), lunch is over. Heading home. 25 degrees Celsius, same highway. Despite the air conditioning.
More consistently in the range of 7.0-7.6 liters.
Could it really be related to the outside temperature???
Today, I'm going to try driving to work at a constant speed of 140 km/h and see if I can achieve a fuel consumption of 7.2 liters per 100 km.
Let's see what comes out for lunch today (today without air conditioning).
Or do I have to just accept the high consumption?

...I don't want to interrupt you, but:

- In my opinion, a declining (or fluctuating) lambda value cannot be responsible for increased fuel consumption - or does the efficiency deteriorate so drastically when running very lean?

- Have you modified your car in any way? XXL spoiler, fender flares, 19" super-wide tires? Is your tire pressure correct?} Are there any boxes or bicycles on the roof? Things like that can easily cost you 1 liter per 100 kilometers...

- Wann kann der Motorenwirkungsgrad schlechter werden wenn der Motor genĂźgend Luft kriegt? Schwerkranke PD-Einheiten? Compression?

"I estimate that my car's average fuel consumption might also be around 7 liters per 100 kilometers at a speed of 150 km/h."

No!!
Nothing done!!!
Kamm schleichend zur Winterzeit, habe es da auf die Winterreifen geschoben aber hat sich nach dem Winter nicht wieder gebessert! Tire pressure, etc.
Everything is okay! I'm just suspecting there might be a temperature issue.
