I understand the arguments against a power box. But with the sentence above, you've hit on the main argument against chip tuning. Most people don't understand the maps within the chips they buy and have to rely on the tuner.

That's interesting, and so far it's the second reason I've had against chip tuning. Either you buy a chip from companies like *** & Co for €800 with TÜV approval, or you drive with an illegal chip. That's what my information has been up to now.
