Can only the chip tuner read out my engine control unit file?

Or someone who is familiar with it icon_wink.gif.
Best regards, Jochen.

Well, it's fine that you all don't believe it, but the fact is that the result is on paper, and the fact is that he has so much power that the diagrams from SLS and Bosch are roughly consistent with each other.
I'll call SLS again tomorrow because I want to know for myself what was done. The fact is, something was done, because a standard ARL model doesn't accelerate like that and doesn't have that kind of driving characteristic. At least, that's what I can't imagine.
I'm guessing that either my VAG-COM cable or my adapter is faulty, or SLS did an amazing job and made the issue undetectable!

It is undeniable that the SLS has undergone some changes. No one has questioned this.
You wouldn't believe how much you can change in the standard software to alter the responsiveness and acceleration, without actually creating a significant increase in overall performance.
These tools are often used when I'm not sure how to get significantly more power, but I still want a boost in acceleration to make the whole experience feel 'powerful.' Even giving full throttle at just 60% pedal travel makes a huge difference in perceived performance.

What do you want to ask SLS?
Do you think she would believe you if you told her over the phone that the measured 27.5° drilling angle doesn't match the performance you were hoping for?
Probably not... They want to make money from their tuning services.
I'm guessing that either my VAG-COM cable or my adapter is faulty, or perhaps SLS did a really good job and made it invisible!
Sorry, it's getting too technical to describe it accurately.
But fundamentally:
When communication is established between VAG-Com and the MSG (Modular Steuergerät), the received values are adjusted accordingly. If something goes wrong, no values are received at all.

I believe those who answered here in this thread have a very good understanding of the MSG topic and know what needs to be done to achieve better results.
How else can we draw the conclusions mentioned above?

Let me read your file and send it, then you will know exactly what it contains.

Best regards, Jochen.

I know how to achieve more power; I haven't been doing this for just a day. However, diesel tuning is a bit different from gasoline engine tuning. Somehow, the extra power has to come from somewhere, and the only possibility I see is that it was intentionally hidden, since the increased power isn't listed in the specifications!

The fact is that many "useless horsepower" can be hidden in diagrams in a subtle way:
Ich kann den Text nicht übersetzen, da ich keinen Text erhalten habe. Bitte gib mir den Text, den du übersetzt haben möchtest.
And if, just as subtly/accidentally, it's not disengaged during the deployment phase, then (according to my estimate) you'll quickly gain around 25-30 extra horsepower.

Hello,

I don't think there are any fundamentally new insights here. Either the diagnostic values were fabricated, or the measured performance is not achievable with the specified values, or the measurement is simply inaccurate.
Simply choose one of the options and then believe in it. icon_smile.gif
There is no course available here on how to change diagnostic values.

Best regards, Rainer.

A) I was there, and every time he let the film develop completely until the very end, as it should be!
B) We made three measurements, and all of them yielded the same result!
C) I don't think you can help me further at this point; I need to do some more investigating on my own to figure this out, but thank you for your help so far!

*yawn* why?

It's always the same boring talk with these penis comparisons. Also, it's been written many times how to cheat in this process, and how long to let it run is almost irrelevant as long as you reach the point with the maximum performance; it's more about how. icon_rolleyes.gif
