Okay, so today was the day when my clutch finally completely failed.

Therefore, I would like to join trebor's question about whether anyone has had (good?) experiences with it.

@Teileklaus: Do you know anything about Valeo, or could you possibly source the OE part number 03G 105 266 AB on short notice?

Mine is original, but my friend has the same combination in his 3 Series 1.8T, and he's been running it for over 40,000 km, and it produces around 380 Nm of torque.

But - at least for me - it's a small consolation, because apparently there isn't yet a solution without a ZMS (torque management system) for the 1.9 PD engines...

Perhaps someone here has an idea that builds on this.

I'm looking for a similar combination for an 88 HP TDI engine in a T4.

What kind of clutch does it even come with as standard?

Since this version uses the small gearbox from the TD, it doesn't have a 220mm clutch, does it?

March 9th: Installed a Valeo clutch kit (for a 228 clutch) from Stahlgruber, purchased for €379 including VAT.

Back in November, I realized that this product wasn't very good because it would constantly slip, especially when it got colder and I was on inclines.
However, I also have the tuning done by Rainer, which increases the torque up to the specified 310 Nm.
So far, the Valeokit has driven approximately 25,000 km without a trailer.
Now that it's really cold and the engine has even more power due to the colder intake air, it's finally impossible to fully accelerate from low RPMs in the higher gears (4th and 5th). If I do that often, I'll burn out the clutch disc.
I'm just going to say it: the ValeoKit might not be able to transmit more, and possibly even less, torque than the original disc and automatic transmission.
I am now looking for a reinforced clutch pressure plate (automatic transmission) from SRE.
Unfortunately, the pedal then becomes a bit harder to push.
At least this thing has one good quality: I have absolutely no transmission noise.
