Higher combustion chamber temperatures are observed with the EGR system open. Only locally limited peak values decrease (and thus NOx). In this area of Sauerland, I only experienced a maximum of -15°C without any problems. However, for another specific vehicle model (not the ARL), an official regulation imposed a restrictor plate on the EGR system to address issues with engine misfires.

In which measurement block can I find the coolant temperature in VAG-COM?
I haven't really dealt with that much before.
