Did ATU disassemble the engine again after Seat had already disassembled and reassembled it?
Sorry, but it's starting to sound unbelievable.

Hey, what's that supposed to mean?
I never said that the Seat was disassembled.

Hi,
I would definitely avoid that Seat workshop in the future. If they diagnose a broken turbo as a "broken engine with bearing damage," then their level of expertise is really quite low.
It seems like ATU is hesitant, because technically, all that's needed is to replace the turbocharger. I think they take the issue of the oil very seriously and are afraid that they might be held responsible for any other damages (whether caused by the oil affecting the injectors or by debris from the turbocharger).
Make sure that no relevant parts, especially any PD components, from your old engine are installed on the new one.
Best regards,

You were really lucky there!
Von mir hättest Du aber ehrlich gesagt garnichts bekommen! Why not?
'Explain that to me! The oil wasn't the cause of the charger damage, and you yourself caused the engine damage!'
But don't let me spoil your mood!
By the way, in the first picture, you can clearly see the fuel injection geometry in the Omega combustion chamber!
Regards,
Manuel.

The technician looked at the engine and mentioned something about a lack of lubrication.
As someone who's stuck at a desk all day, I have no idea about that.
Okay, please read through the legal case, in the section below.
'Oil change with consequences' - according to the new law of obligations.

It's not surprising that it's burning oil because of the faulty loading shaft, which is supposed to be inside the engine! And your 50 kilometers also contributed to the problem!
When will it be ready to drive again? Do you also have a rental car available?
Regards,
Manuel.

I'll respond on behalf of "Snowfun" because I had given him legal advice regarding that matter back then.
As mentioned before, Snowfun received a new engine with 10,000 km from some kind of prototype, and that was a good thing. After that, the car ran well, as far as I know, even with a chip installed.
"However, the car has since been sold, as he probably needed a larger one. After the bad experience with the turbocharger, he had bought a spare one. I got it cheaply when he sold the car. That way, I at least have a spare. I've also had a turbocharger fail on an AMF before. However, the original turbocharger had pressure fluctuations from the beginning when it was very hot (without any other apparent cause). At 100,000 km, it became too leaky at the shaft. However, it had been driven with a chip for 80,000 of those kilometers. My current AMF, which is from the same production date as the old one, doesn't show any of those problems at 100,000 km (60,000 of which were with a chip)."
Regards,
Olaf.
