Audi A6 C4: Key Pairing/Programming Guide

Hi!
I have an Audi A6 C4 from 1995, and it only has one key. A new key from Audi costs 15 euros plus 35 euros for programming it to the car, which is too expensive for me!
Okay, so my question is, can anyone explain how this works and what I need to do? I have the freeware version of VAG-Com 311 or something like that, along with a working interface that I built myself.
Can I adjust this myself now, or do I have to invest the 50 euros with VAG?

I have read the instructions for pairing infrared remote controls, but I don't have a remote control; I only have regular keys.

The adaptation of the immobilizer system only works with a full version of VAG-COM.

First, you should get the WFS login credentials, because we can't proceed without them. Do you have them?

Do you have the original spare keys for the vehicle?

For your car's model year, there should be a plastic flag attached to one of the spare keys.
You should also be able to find the WFS login information here.

Generally speaking, it is currently difficult/impossible to obtain WFS logins, at least for most people.

Unfortunately, I only received ONE key for the vehicle, and that was the main key. All the other keys were supposedly lost.

VAG might be an option, but I don't want to pay 50 euros.

VAG also also retrieves WFS logins from WOB/IN as well.
