Clicking sound after engaging the clutch. Audible during all upward movements, especially during the sequences 1 > 2 > 3 > 4.
The clicking sound is amplified when, during or immediately after the clutch engagement, the accelerator pedal is quickly released from the initial 5-10mm of travel, which corresponds to the power range.
Occasionally, the clicking sound can also be heard when quickly releasing the clutch.
Cause:
Gear noise.
The customer should be informed about the following:
"The engine's immense power output can cause knocking noises in the transmission when driven in a very sporty manner."
A brief pre-synchronization during gear changes, combined with a slightly delayed throttle application, prevents the clicking noises.
"Pre-synchronizing refers to briefly engaging the gear lever (for a duration of less than or equal to 0.5 seconds) while the clutch pedal is depressed, before actually selecting the gear." Tschüss

For most 3.2L 8P models, there's also a modified software that's supposed to minimize (though not completely prevent) this issue.
