I have a starter generator (SG) for my Audi with the part number 045 906 019 Q, but it's broken.
"Now I need a replacement. I have a few options, but they all end in 'K' or 'B' as the last letter, and the software versions don't match."
Are there any technical hardware differences? Can the software versions be easily swapped, or are there potential issues? Is there anything that needs to be considered?
I would really appreciate your help!
best regards, lutz

I have a part for my Audi with the designation 045 906 019 Q. However, this part is broken.
Is this still the part that hasn't been starting since I messed with it?
Best regards,
Matthias.

As mentioned in the previous post, I still believe that the probability of the device being broken is lower than the probability of a mistake being made during the modification.
To put this issue to rest once and for all, I'd like to offer to send you the item by mail. I'll take a look at it (of course, FREE of charge), and if it's truly broken, you can still discard it.
Best regards,
Matthias.

Thank you for the offer, but the item has already been sent to the post office today, as someone else from the forum was also interested in it.
"Thank you anyway!"

See? It works.
This person surely isn't Rainer or Rudi .
You'll see that when someone familiar with the subject takes on the matter, it will only be a case of: Plug & Play .
Best regards,
Matthias.

So, this time I didn't have my fingers in it .
I'm quite sure that this device can be brought back to life.
Best regards,
Rudi

I am also innocent. But based on various experiences I've had soldering things onto motherboards, I would say 'anything is possible'.

@Rainer
Could we almost start a survey with the topic:
Will ddrler's car ever run again?
start
Best regards,
Matthias.
