Hello forum.
My alternator is making noises. It made a very loud cracking and grinding sound, about three times, which I heard immediately after starting the engine.
While idling, I put my ear to the LMA, and it made a terrible cracking sound (once) that startled me.
Now, immediately after starting, there's a slight squeaking sound, especially when idling.
I've noticed that for a long time.
I suspect the LMA bearings are faulty.
No issues with power supply.
My question to you.
Has anyone replaced the EGR valves themselves?
Is it a lot of work?
What should one consider?
I would be grateful for some good tips.
Could it be that the tension spring/coil spring is too strong?
(Only 40,000 kilometers have been driven.)
Can the tensile strength be tested?
I've had to replace a lot of parts on my car.
It hasn't been fun for a long time.
