Hello everyone!

Can anyone provide me with the values displayed when accessing group 4 (I'm not entirely sure which group it is) using VAG-COM, where the target and actual injection timing are shown, for a VP37 engine?
In the basic settings mode, the start of injection is alternately adjusted to be either late or early. I've noticed that the change in this setting is quite small (of course, at idle speed).

"When the engine is cold, the fuel pump starts at approximately 8° BTDC (Before Top Dead Center)."
When "late," the pump is set to approximately 3-4° before top dead center icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif.

When I switch back to normal mode, the pump returns to approximately 1.3-1.5° BTDC, which corresponds to the target value.

Even in the default settings, the key sensitivity is far from being at 0% or 100%.

Is that normal? What values do you achieve under the described conditions?

Regards,
Alex.

Hi Alex,

The values are the same for me.

Best regards, Rainer.

My fuel pump never arrives as late as the EDC wants it to. (The warm-up enrichment wants it to arrive after top dead center, but it doesn't go any later than that.)

However, the default setting for the 1Z with 021 AF is also "only for early models."
Obviously, the back-and-forth communication between early and late stages needs to be integrated into the software later on.

The desired early setting for block 004 is something in the double-digit range, but it only achieves 9 degrees early.

I don't know what the f*ck it was.
