Faulty speed controller?

'I occasionally experience a slight power loss in my Audi A6 Avant TDI (2002 model, 2.5L TDI quattro, AKE engine code, 6-speed manual transmission) when the regenerative braking system (Rekuperation) is active. This power drop is very brief and then the vehicle returns to its constant speed.'

I've analyzed the CAN signals and noticed that occasionally, the speed reported by the instrument cluster jumps up by 7 km/h within 200 ms and then immediately returns to its previous value. Consequently, the engine control unit temporarily reduces power, which causes a minimal drop in RPM. This results in a decrease in RPM and a slightly higher speed in the signals from the engine control unit – which shouldn't happen if I keep my foot on the accelerator.

My question is: Is there anything known about the speed sensor on the transmission, or should I rather investigate the instrument cluster that converts the analog signal into a CAN signal?

Are the fluctuations present and traceable in both the combined unit's MDB (Main Distribution Board) and the engine generator set's MDB?

If both are malfunctioning, I would first examine the sender unit.
Besides that, only software errors in the engine control unit are known. What is the part number and data version you have?

I only looked at the CAN signals because I think the vehicle speed sensor is far too slow. The speed increases by only about 7 km/h for 200 ms based on the signal transmitted by the combination instrument cluster. When looking at the displayed speed from the combination instrument cluster, it's only about 4 km/h, and with the MSG (presumably another module), it's only about 2 km/h.

Yesterday, while I was changing the tires, I tried to access the sensor, but unfortunately, it seems to be in a difficult-to-reach location.
