evening
I disconnected the hose from the vacuum sensor and sealed it tightly. Are the values now displayed in group 3 okay?
The engine is a 1Z.
"Thank you."

Yes. The actual value (IST) must now be higher than the target value (SOLL), because the engine control unit (MSG) believes that something is being added from the exhaust gas recirculation system. However, since this is not the case, more air passes through the low-pressure mixing chamber (LLM). To compensate for this, the MSG attempts to use a higher EGR rate.
Does anything ever show up on cylinder #4 when you do a compression test on your 1Z engine with the MWB 13 code?
Oops... too slow!

Evening.
Thank you for your answers!
"Regarding the measurement in block 13, cylinder 4, to my knowledge, this is normal because one cylinder acts as a reference point or something like that. "
How can I determine if my EGR valve is actually sealing properly and not stuck? Or does the information shown in the values in the first post resolve this issue?
"Thank you."
Martin.

If you really want to ensure that the EGR valve is disabled, you should block the EGR outlet with a spacer plate in the area of the exhaust manifold. ST37 steel, approximately 1-2mm thick, works very well because exhaust gases won't be able to leak through it even after several thousand kilometers. While your method might work, if the EGR valve isn't already completely closing/sealing, exhaust gases will still enter your intake manifold and thus into the combustion chamber. That's what I did... I disconnected the hose, sealed it with a steel ball bearing, and then reconnected it.
However, no change was noticeable. Then I added a piece of metal (as Zak1976 mentioned) and voilà... now there was a noticeable difference.

I see it the same way; there are only 5 possible values for the V6 as well. The faulty value would always be 0 anyway.
In the V6 engine, the knock sensor is located in the 3rd cylinder (as far as I understand the firing order). The knock sensor reading serves as a reference. What's strange is that it's displayed like this (which has already been discussed in the forum):
2 to 3
1 to 2.
4, 5, and 6, also at a price of 2 [units/currency].
But it doesn't matter. A cylinder represents the reference value of 0 and therefore does not need to be displayed. Aktuell:

Yes, another proof that I didn't think things through! Thank you for the clarification.
