My plastic guide for the right front electric window lifter is broken. As far as I know, this is a common problem with the Polo 9N/Fabia/Ibiza. I heard that there is a repair kit available for it. However, the dealer here claims that I need to replace the entire actuator mechanism including the mounting plate (which costs about €180 here in Denmark) .
Does anyone know if there's a repair kit available, and if so, what is the part number?
So, if the driving gear is broken, it could be the same one as, for example, part A3 or A6.
You could have a look at one at the dealership and compare it.
tln 4B0 837 463 A (orange = improved; approximately €2.50)
Unfortunately, I don't know if it also fits Polo or Fabia models.
It's been a while now (2.5 years), but I wanted to comment on this again. The part from the A3 doesn't fit.
While you can buy individual, non-genuine plastic parts on online marketplaces, they are often made from inferior plastic and don't last very long.
So, in the end, you can't avoid having to replace the entire carrier.
