Hi,

Today, after installing a new mass airflow sensor, I took it out for a few drives.
You can find the logs here:
Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate.

Maybe someone will take a look at it.
In the series, the values are generally quite similar and constant, with hardly any outliers or huge fluctuations.

With the Divo Box in the middle - HOLLA.
Sure, it performs much better with that, but it seems a bit too aggressive on the materials – it's running right up to the point of failure.

Perhaps someone can comment on the serial diagram to confirm that everything appears to be in order.

Hi,

I've only looked at it in the text editor. The "Serie" (likely a model name) seems to be related to air mass. It's not very exciting in the higher RPM range. Are the intake and exhaust paths clear? Is the LMM supposed to be new?

Regarding the Powerbox tuning: it's not ideal, but the turbo should still be able to handle it. This just shows again that a proper tuning will outperform any Powerbox. Typical case of 'VTG pre-tax curve no longer fitting due to box dimensions'.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hmm, I didn't check it further. This morning, the engine was barely running at 100-120 mph, and my friend was told that the turbocharger was broken, and he was already expecting costs of several hundred euros...

The car has 140,000 km on the odometer. I just checked the timing briefly, and it's currently between the ideal value and the lower limit when idling. I'll probably need a new belt soon anyway, so I'll see if we can get it back to the ideal range then. Maybe that's the key issue?

Otherwise, we'll take another look at the intake manifolds.
In which area is there not enough air mass?
Or, how much should he be able to achieve there?

Yes, the performance with that box is really impressive; it runs quite well. But when I saw the logs, I was almost shocked...

I've also moved two more items, with product codes 03.08 and 10. Again, with and without.

Starting at 3600 rpm, it should at least reach the target value.

Best regards, Rainer.

First, is it an automatic transmission, or (2. Log without a box)? I'm not quite getting along with your speed values and accelerator pedal icon_confused.gif.

Then I wanted to see if it was related to the turbocharger boost pressure, which was also slightly below the target value at one point. However, it's difficult because the full-load data logs are a bit strange, or need to be specifically searched for. Everything is being done without a data logging device. Since he sometimes achieves the required air mass even when the LD is below the target, I'm ruling that out. Otherwise, Rainer would definitely have noticed it.

No, it was a manual transmission.
It's possible that the logged data, with its simultaneous 3 MW readings, indicates...
The amount of data has decreased slightly, and the 'frames' have been a bit problematic.
'They've gotten thinner. To be honest, I haven't really paid attention, but they seemed thinner too.'
