Hello everyone,

Perhaps one of you has an idea or information about my small problem: We have a T4 TDI 2.5 102HP automatic transmission from the year 2000 in our family. VAG came up with something clever here. When the car comes to a standstill, the automatic transmission 'disengages' to then 're-engage' when you press the accelerator. Of course, this happens with jolts, and it's even more pronounced when towing. It's very uncomfortable and annoying. The whole thing feels almost like riding a moped with a centrifugal clutch! Does anyone have information on whether this function can be disabled by accessing the automatic transmission control unit, and could you tell me how – 'login code,' 'adaptation levels,' etc.?

Thank you in advance for all your answers!

Jürgen.
