Can Xenon control units be coded with VCDS?

Hello everyone,
Can the control units for the xenon headlights be coded using VCDS (VAG-COM) on a VW Golf 4?
Or does one absolutely have to go to the friendly [place/person]?

Yes, you can code the control unit to the vehicle using VCDS.

You can also adjust the settings for the axle sensors. However, you will need to take your car to a workshop to adjust the headlights. Unless you happen to have one of those devices in your garage yourself.

My mechanic really fiddled around with the sensors back then to adjust them. Just make sure the values are correct beforehand. Then it will be done quickly.
