Opel brake pad wear indicator reset

Hi, is it possible to reset the brake pad wear indicator on an Opel Zafira, manufactured around 2002, without using OBD software?

If so, how?

Or do I need to take it to the workshop?

The indicator light is still on after the pads were replaced. I assume it's not supposed to go off automatically, or could something have been done incorrectly during the replacement that's preventing it from turning off?

The wear indicator, or the contact points on the brake pads, are separate parts on Opel vehicles and are not integrated into the pad itself, unlike my VW.

So, my acquaintance now has to order and replace the wear contacts, and then it should be fine.
