Yes... it is a gasoline engine icon_redface.gif.

It's a 2000 model A3.
Chassis Type: 8L
1.6L R4 V2 MPI
74 kW / 100 hp
MKB AEH

The engine starts and runs at idle. As soon as you give it gas, it stalls icon_confused.gif.
The error only occurs sporadically. The behavior is identical with a replacement key.

Errors were only stored in the central control unit.
01367 - Central Locking Pump Run Time Exceeded (Likely Leak)
35-00 - -
01366 - Opened due to crash signal.
35-00 - -
01360 - Switch for Anti-Theft Alarm; Open.
29-00 - Short circuit to ground.

Since they were deleted, they (still) haven't reappeared (nor has the error).

Error code 1360 refers to the door contact switch (which tends to malfunction on some vehicles).
(causing trouble). Could this strange behavior be related to the bug?

Best regards,
Rudi

hi.

I would recommend first cleaning the throttle valve. Then, first, clear the learned values from the control module, and then perform the throttle valve adaptation.

That would be the most common.

Hello.

Is this still a Euro 3 or Euro 4 engine? Does it have OBDII (On-Board Diagnostics II) or not?
Does the component located to the right of the manifold have an EGR valve?

Best regards, Cosi.

Possible, as "Crashsignal" can also refer to the shutdown of the fuel supply.

@Schraubi:
The throttle body has already been cleaned.

@Cosi:
I won't see the car again until tomorrow, but as far as I know, the AEH engine doesn't have an AGR valve. That was installed in the APF engine.

@Sebastian:
Sounds plausible. But why would the fuel be cut off only when you want to accelerate?
Right now, I'm waiting for the error to reappear. Let's see what gets logged then.

Best regards,
Rudi
