TDI: GRA unlock issue - 90PS engine

I have a 1996 Alhambra with a 90hp TDI engine. The turn signal stalk has been replaced and seems to be working (you can see the reaction to inputs in diagnostic module 6).

I can't seem to activate the cruise control; the "Cruise Present" display still shows 0.0.

My A4 says 1.0...

I used code 11463, but nothing changed. The control unit is still the first generation, and the wiring harness was already pre-assembled (plug-and-play connector directly on the lever).

What could be the reason for that?

I think I've found the problem. The bit for the clutch switch is set, and it doesn't change when the clutch is engaged.


In my Audi, the value of the set cruise control is 1.0, and the value of the unset cruise control is 0.0... therefore, I assumed that 0.0 also means "not set" for the Sharan .

The problem should therefore be resolved by checking the clutch switch.
