Navigation CD cannot be ejected

Hello everyone,

"I'm having a problem with the navigation CD in my A6 with the RNS-D system. The CD won't eject. Pressing the button doesn't work, and it displays an error message saying the CD is faulty. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the CD out, preferably without removing the device? Maybe there's a small opening somewhere that I can press, like on a PC drive?"

Check with VCDS to see if the exhaust system is possibly blocked .

As far as I know, the eject lock doesn't exist until the RNS-E; it's not present in the older RNS-D.

If the RNS-D is behaving like this, there are likely to be hardware errors. Perhaps cleaning the entire reading unit might help .
