Hello,

I built an ARL engine (year 2001) into an Audi 80.
I have wired everything correctly according to the wiring diagram.
And also repeatedly checked to ensure that there is no error in the wiring.

Now, the inevitable has happened, it won't start icon_sad.gif
Starter engages, Relay 109 pulls, voltage is also present.
At the WFS, it's also unlikely to work, as it would need to run in 1-2 seconds.

Before I want to get to the diagnosis first, I don't want to give up.
Does the control unit display any errors?

I can't find the K-conductor in the electrical diagram, though.
this should normally be sufficient for reading.

Does anyone know where this pipe is located?

This is my first post here on the forum, so if I've made any mistakes
have, please don't overwhelm icon_smile.gif

Best regards, Franz

Hello Rudi,

Do you mean by large connector the one from the control unit?

That's because it's a "Tacho GRA Lamp" for me.

Otherwise, I can't find a plug that has a 16-position.

Hello Franz,
The large connector from the MSTG is already correct.
What documents should that 'GRA lamp' be placed on?

Have you started counting from the right side?
Pin 6 is not next to the five high-current contacts.

Sorry, I just had a bug in my system.

At Pin 16, there is an "w". I just did a little...
googled and found out that you can also
as a k-lead for diagnosis

I didn't know that.

Thank you for your help! icon_biggrin.gif
