Hello everyone!

I recently noticed that my clutch pedal feels noticeably pulsating when I press it lightly (the clutch is not disengaged and is still far from the engagement point). Normally, people don't do this, but maybe you could try it at your place.
I find it very strange, because I can only explain the pulsating motion by a mistake in the swing arm of the bicycle. How do you see it?

Greetings
Alex

Hello!
My Golf was still okay at a speed of 183 km/h, but the problem started around 200 km/h in my Passat. As the driver, I suspect the clutch more. As long as it doesn't completely break down, I'll continue driving. With TDI, you can drive a manual transmission for a long time with just a little bit of feeling in your feet.
Greetings,
Dominique

Hi,

There might also be other reasons, as the lever to the release lever is very short, and even the slightest vibration from the suspension is amplified through the clutch actuation. If we roughly estimate that with an axial play of 3/100mm, this movement roughly ten times the size of my thumb on the pedal, then you should definitely notice it.
But, of course, this also includes the Fakto brake lever.
A ZMS would also be a worthwhile addition, especially when considering the Valeo and LUK parts, and seeing that the vibration damper is only moved by striking the spring ends. icon_eek.gif

...this has been on my Suzuki Ignis for approximately 45,000 km. Now it's at around 76,000 km. The mechanic just said: "Keep driving until it stops!" - especially since it only seems to happen when the car is cold.

The pulsing is also happening to mine (Passat, AFN, 180,000km).
In the previous model (same values, but an older model), it was gone after a comprehensive clutch repair. "However, almost everything was replaced, including the clutch lever and the flywheel."
I've been driving the newer Passat for 4 months now, and the symptoms haven't gotten worse.

Hello,
and if it's the plate-spring of the pressure plate? So, if the "arms" protrude differently towards the release lever? Then, with each U, the gear is put into a whirling motion that extends all the way to the pedal (but only if it's not too tight).
Best regards,

Hello,

I had to replace the clutch on my new Passat (191,000 km, first clutch, and used for towing) after all.
The vibrations are gone, cause:
Pilot storage and ZMS are defective.
