Passat Smoking: Troubleshooting & Repair Guide

My friend's Passat is smoking a lot when he presses the gas pedal all the way down.
The car is NOT modified. However, my VAG-COM didn't find any error codes, and the values from the mass airflow sensor (MAF) seem okay at first glance.
Can someone please tell me what's wrong here?
I have the LOG file with me.
