Hello,

I just read the MWB068 data. It indicates that I have an ash content of 66%.
Wie ich hier im Forum lesen konnte, muss bei 75% der DPF ausgetauscht werden? Is.
is that correct?

The vehicle now has 48,000 kilometers on the odometer. So, if my calculations are correct, then...
Is my DPF likely to be finished after 6,500 km if I drive in the same way? icon_eek.gif

MKB: BSS Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI

Or have I made a mistake in my thinking? 068.1 -> 2%, 068.2 -> 66%.

Regards,
Timo.

Hello,

The value of 2 in MWB 68 is not a percentage, but rather the ash content in grams.
068,2, Ash content,,Target value: max. 150.0 g

That makes the situation seem a little less tense, but not really exciting icon_smile.gif.

66g / 48Mm = 1.375 g/Mm -> 150g at 109,000 km.

At 150g, the car will feel a bit sluggish, and fuel consumption will be correspondingly high.

Best regards, Rainer.
PS: Could you please share your VAG part number for the engine control unit, 03G-906-016-GT?

Thank you, Rainer!

Okay, well, that's a relief. Does the 150G limit actually apply to everyone, from the factory?
verbauten DPF aus dem VAG Konzern? Was passiert hier genau? Does the 150G work?
Warnleuchte an? Oder kann ich schon früher mit einer Meldung rechnen. Like in the case of...
Service?

My consumption is already very high.
7.0-7.5 liters per 100km (40km commute, 80% rural roads and highway).
On the highway, using cruise control, I can achieve fuel consumption of 6.4 liters per 100 kilometers on long journeys.

I always calculate the fuel consumption for the heavier car with the ~7-liter engine, and everything is still within a reasonable range.
I'm just curious how people can drive cars with engines that have a displacement of 5.8 to 6.5 liters here.

Meine erste Servicelampe sprang schon bei 20tkm an (max. Soll 30tkm - QG1). Now.
I'm already at 23,000 km, and I haven't seen the inspection light illuminate on the display yet.
Either I'm using better oil now, or my driving style has become more relaxed.
Maybe my DPF will last a little longer.

If my car wasn't already chipped, I would definitely be a customer for the DPF Safer.

I also have the feeling that I'm driving the 2.0 model at too low of an RPM.
Therefore, it consumes more.

Regards,
Timo.

Then your car will really be going fast.

I have slightly different values.

170 hp Passat Variant:
Approximately 16,000 km (logged on August 24th).
068.1 == 18.4 (it's going to be burned down again).
068.2 == 4.05
068.3 == 0

150/4.05 * 16000 km = 592592 km icon_rolleyes.gif

Code:
068,0,Partikelfilter (Abgaswerte II)
; Nur während der Regeneration gültig!
; Umgebungsbedingungen: 50-60 km/h / 3. Gang / Drehzahl <= 3000 U/min
068,1,Beladungs-,koeffizient,Sollwert: max. 40.0 %\n\nAb 40.0 % beginnt die Regeneration im Fahrbetrieb.
068,2,Aschemasse,,Sollwert: max. 150.0 g
068,3,Aschelernwert
;
Transparency, Teamwork
... there was another T.

I don't know what the f*ck it was.

You should also consider using an additive-free system; perhaps that will make a difference.
Is this system not considered "maintenance-free" anymore? Mine has 80,000-120,000 km on it.
"to specify. Unfortunately, the salesperson didn't tell me that at the time."

It's strange, but I couldn't find a container under the spare tire.
And during the burning process, the energy consumption increases dramatically.
Actually, that doesn't really speak well for the additive. According to the vehicle identification number...
but it is installed.

Everything is strange. *** developed its chip technology for my vehicle back then.
Perhaps my lack of restraint within the RPF cost me something.

I think I need to learn more about VAG-COM and measuring blocks.
to occupy, to engage, to employ, to concern.

Timo.

Here's what Skoda has to say about it:

Dear Mr. xxx,

Thank you for your feedback.

The diesel particulate filter replacement interval for the Skoda Superb is 120,000 km or four years. However, this is not a fixed interval, and shorter intervals may occur depending on fuel consumption. In any case, the remaining additive must be extracted and replaced, along with the filter, no later than 120,000 km. Furthermore, warning lights will indicate when the additive level is too low or the particulate filter is clogged. If these warnings are ignored, the emissions control system will be activated. This can result in a fine during a police check, and it is not possible to pass the emissions test with the warning light illuminated.

In general, it can be said that as long as no warning light is illuminated, there is nothing to worry about. We hope this information is helpful to you.

Please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English.
For that, 109,000 kilometers is actually quite good.

Martin: Don't get too excited. Different vehicles have different maximum values. I just checked for the 140 hp engine in the 3C model: the maximum value listed there is 60g.

Therefore: You can expect your DPF to last for 237,000 km. Assuming that nothing ages or deteriorates, which would lead to increased soot production. In that case, the lifespan would be even shorter.

Regards,
Guste.

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"Noe" translates to "Noah" in English.

because the Ashlern value of 068.3 is at -2.0.
So, I guess I'm using less fuel than the brain in the engine thought icon_wink.gif.

Yesterday, at a little over 36,000 kilometers, I had 10 grams of ash.
Rainer (RKS..lbl) says that it can be 60g.

60 / 10 * 36000 = 216000 ... ok, that's icon_wink.gif enough.

Assuming the proportion of biomass in the diesel is not increased further. Take a look at the permissible ash content in biodiesel. Neither a DPF-saver tuning nor a corresponding driving style will help with a further increase in the amount added icon_evil.gif.

As far as I know, in the Passat and Superb (additive system), the ash content is calculated, not measured.

Then, one can only estimate what factors go into the calculation, and variables that come to mind include fuel consumption, the amount of additive added to the diesel, kilometers driven, and regeneration cycles.

If the filter is sealed, it can be treated similarly to a PSA system, and the device can be backwashed with water.

According to the labelfile, the Superb regenerates more frequently than the Passat (with a maximum range of 1100 km compared to 1400 km), which could mean that the filter is subjected to a higher load.

However, ultimately, a high consumption rate will affect the amount of ash produced.

Best regards.

The formula used in the BGW (Berufsgenossenschaft für Gesundheitswesen) within the label file is as follows:

Code:
Aschemasse = Laufleistung (km) / 1000 * 121.5

(If the control unit is replaced and the old value is unknown, it should be calculated using this formula. What exactly goes into the value is still unclear.)

Then, a fixed consumption rate was established for the BLW (Baby-Led Weaning) approach.
If you don't know the value for your basal metabolic rate (BMR), you should use 7 liters.

Let's compare the cars.

"When I drive at a constant speed of 100 km/h using cruise control, I average around 5 liters per 100 kilometers (I drive approximately 130 kilometers daily)."
With cruise control set to 120 km/h, the consumption is 5.5 to 6 liters.
At 130, the value is between 6.3 and 6.5.
(information based on a report filed with the Federal Intelligence Service)

In theory, you should even achieve a slightly better time due to the improved aerodynamics.

My information refers to stretches of road that are at least 350 km long, so it should be informative and provide a useful reference point.

What's your usual driving style like? Do you prefer a smooth, anticipatory style, or a more dynamic and sporty one? The latter isn't really suitable for a diesel with a DPF, especially not one that's been chipped.
