In principle, yes, if we assume that the concept involving the position sensor no longer uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) for control. Instead, it truly uses a position feedback signal, which is regulated based on the output of the position sensor.
Adjusting the position of the sensor would have a similar effect to using a longer or shorter rod, but with greater precision and long-term stability.
If it essentially only offers improved error detection, then probably not.
I don't believe there are any adjustments made in the customer service department for this. The initial settings are usually done by the loader manufacturer together with VTG, using a flow bench.

Therefore, a stuck VGT or an error in the vacuum system cannot be diagnosed solely by looking at the duty cycle; instead, it always requires considering the duty cycle in relation to the actual boost pressure value. Am I understanding this correctly?
