Differences between 2.0 TDI engines with 100kW and 103kW in the Touran

I'm considering buying a Touran. You can find the older models with the 100kW engine on the used car market.
What is the difference between the older 2.0 TDI engine and the 103 kW version?

Who else has the matching ICD codes ready?

Regarding the 103 kW generators, the question is whether they have a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) or not.

MIT DPF: 8-valve counterflow engine (bored-out 1.9L).
Without DPF: 16V cross-flow (likely newly developed).

If I remember correctly, we had a similar issue with the same vehicle not long ago... I haven't looked into it myself, but maybe this will help.
