Hi!
Since I am a proud owner of an 81 kW AHF engine (including the vehicle icon_biggrin.gif), I am curious about the actual technical differences between it and the 96 kW ALZ engine. Since both are 1.9L engines, and my AHF already has a VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry) and an oil cooler (LLK), the extra power can probably only be achieved through larger injectors and a modified engine management system. Or am I mistaken? Is it possible to bring the AHF up to the 96 kW power output without major modifications?
Thank you for the answers.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

Hi,

To the best of my knowledge, the ALZ is a 1.6L engine with 75 horsepower. In my opinion, there is also no 1.9L TDI engine with a distributor injection pump and 96 kW.
Perhaps you are referring to the ASZ engine, which does not use a distributor injection pump, but instead uses pump-nozzle elements.
96kW in the AHF (presumably referring to a specific vehicle or system) is not a problem (you can install a tuning box or chip).

Best regards, Rainer.

Thank you, Rainer!
Yes, of course, I meant the ASZ. icon_redface.gif If it's a PD engine, then all of that becomes irrelevant. icon_lol.gif I wasn't planning on converting to a pump-injector system just yet.
