Hello,

For the roof rack, there are also bicycle carriers, is there anyone who knows of a similar ski carrier?

Best regards, Rainer

Hello Rainer,

I've already seen that kind of device on some Dutch VW buses, and I was thinking about how our bus was malfunctioning at the back... well,

Matthias is leaving soon (!) with skis on the bus for a week in the Alps, he must pay for this icon_wink.gif

Hi Matthias,

Okay, then have fun icon_smile.gif. I think I'll go with magnetic alternatives. The ski racks I've found for AHK bike carriers cost more than the entire existing bike carrier, and I don't currently have the time for aluminum profile toys...

Hello Rainer,
I have used the magnetic ski racks frequently. They were very inexpensive, with a steel cord that you would attach to the door to secure the rack. The ski racks held the skis very well. Problems can occur with cars that have sunroofs (lack of space) and with scratching the roof if you place the magnet on a dirty roof and then move it. Otherwise: top! Okay then, have fun, skiers! I hope there's enough snow!

I'm back, the whole thing fits perfectly into the bus... however, it consumes as much fuel as a Golf with a vertically mounted ski box icon_sad.gif
