Injection Volume Not Reached: Troubleshooting

Hello.

I once read the sensor data during a drive and noticed that the target fuel injection amount was not being reached. The target value was 43, but the maximum value I was getting was 34.

That's probably why the car doesn't have much power. But what could be the reason for that?

Here, it doesn't specify which engine it is, nor does it mention any quantity limits...

The engine is a 1.9 TDI 1Z with 90 horsepower.

It's the fuel injection quantity limiter, or what do you think?

He's referring to which type of fuel injection quantity limitation you're talking about, based on torque, opacity (smoke), or driver demand. In the corresponding data block, these are listed side-by-side. In the acceleration phase of a production TDI, the fuel injection quantity is typically limited by torque, even if you want to inject an infinite amount of fuel via the accelerator pedal.

If the opacity reading has the lowest value, then you are effectively experiencing a loss of power. This is usually due to the mass airflow sensor.
It would be best if you could post your engine's data log (while running at full load in 3rd or 4th gear, at 3000 RPM), and then someone will be able to give you more specific information.
