Airbag Error 1317: Polo MJ 2001 Diagnostic (Solution)

Polo MJ 2001.
"Airbag control light is illuminated. Error code "01317 Control unit in the dashboard panel, no communication" is registered in the airbag control unit."

Cause:
When the engine is started, the minimum supply voltage at the instrument cluster is exceeded. As a result, the error code 01317 is stored in the airbag control unit.

Solution:
In case of a complaint, replace the combined unit and clear the error memory of the airbag control unit.
