Difference in fuel injection pump AFN

Hello!

What is the difference between VEP 028130115A (for Golf III, Passat, A4, etc.) and VEP 028130115B (for Sharan)? Does the 028130115A also fit in the Sharan, or are there any issues with it?

'A' has an 8-pin + 3-pin connector, while 'B' from the Sharan has a 10-pin connector! Mechanically, they are the same, as far as I know! I also successfully used a B pump after modifying the connector.
