Hello, please review my log file. I deliberately chose the display, the gear selection (2 instead of 3 for better resolution), and the driving phases because the problems occur in these areas. All acceleration runs up to approximately 4200 RPM were performed in 3rd gear. There were four runs in total. The first two were with the air conditioning ON, and the other two were with the air conditioning OFF. The engine was warmed up beforehand. I'm looking forward to your insights .
Here's the link to the Excel file: /viewtopic.php?p=128940
See you, Thomas. |

Hi, I intentionally didn't mention it again here... I thought that without any background information, people are less likely to be misled when making diagnoses. That often happened with workshops. If you told them something for 10 minutes, they often lost track of where to even start looking. So, they would just randomly replace parts. I think we can probably tell if everything is okay by looking at the values, right?

Hello, so the AGR valve has already been replaced. And what does 'VTG rod too short' mean? Or, to put it another way, can the problem be fixed without replacing the turbo? The turbo has been replaced before, as have the mass airflow sensor (MAF) and the solenoid valve.
What should I do to better pinpoint the error? Should I log other relevant data? And the 8-bit version too?
'Hey @ulf, I've been to at least 6 workshops, and none of them were able to pinpoint the problem. Everyone recognized that something was wrong. That's why I asked about the values without mentioning the background, just to see what people thought. I have a feeling that if you mention certain things, it can lead people down the wrong path and they'll end up looking for the problem somewhere else. I don't want to make it harder for anyone to diagnose the issue, and I'm not enjoying just posting things here!' Please refer to my other posts in this forum.

Disconnect the hose from the N75's air intake and suck on the hose with your mouth. If it's clear, you can then test the non-return valve (refer to the factory service manual for information on engine pneumatics). Is that also okay, or would it help to extend the VTG rod a bit longer (just one rotation to start with)?
Perhaps your MSG (Material Safety Guidance) data contains parameters that promote over-steering: In that case, it wouldn't be a bug, but rather "state of the art." However, it can still be adjusted by changing the length of the VTG rods.

Besides the faulty AGR valve, I can't identify any other "problems."
Is that really what you're concerned about?
Then, simply check all the options available from the AGR-FA regarding deactivation, especially if you are not the original owner. Gruß Ulf
