Hey everyone,

I want to buy a new suspension system now.

My Passat (3B) definitely shouldn't be lowered too much; I just want my 18-inch wheels to sit flush with the wheel arches.

So far, everyone is recommending a K&W coilover suspension kit to me?
Are there any alternatives to that?

Best regards,
Yoshi.

Hey, so my friend has a FK coilover suspension in his 3B and he's really happy with it! It's not rock hard; I would even say it's comfortable!!! I also have an FK coilover suspension in my Golf 4 Kombi...
Okay, let's compare KW, H&R, and FK – these are brands that I think have good quality.
I would definitely recommend coilover suspension. I installed a 60/40 lowering kit in my friend's car, and it's much stiffer than my own coilovers, even though mine have a 105/95mm drop.
At least with a threaded adjustment, you can fine-tune the height until it suits you.

Best regards,
Stefan
