Change settings in the instrument cluster?

I installed a power distribution unit (PDU) in my T3 bus.
I've now driven almost 80,000 km and I'm very satisfied.
There's one more annoying thing I'd like to fix.
Due to the engine's tilted position, the yellow oil can warning light illuminates and beeps every 100 km, indicating "Please check oil level."
Can the value "100" be changed? I would like to replace it with 500.
The instrument cluster and the engine are from a Golf IV, manufactured in [year]. September 2000.
