Hello everyone.
I'm working on an RS4, specifically the AZR engine. The engine is running roughly during cold starts.
Error memory:
Thursday, July 10, 2008, 3:46:11 PM: 35547
VAG-COM version: RKS 704.1.
Address 01: Engine.
Control unit part number: 8D0 907 551 K.
Component and/or version: 2.7L V6/5VT G 0001.
Encoding: 10711
Workshop number: WSC 63351.
Extended information: WUAZZZ8DZ1N904791 AUZ7Z0A1829002
7 errors found:
16684 - Misfire detected.
P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire detected.
P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
16690 - Cylinder 6: Misfire detected.
P0306 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
16689 - Cylinder 5: Misfire detected.
P0305 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire detected.
P0301 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
16687 - Cylinder 3: Misfire detected.
P0303 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
16686 - Cylinder 2: Misfire detected.
P0302 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
Readiness: 0000 0000
The problem only occurs when the engine is cold. If it weren't affecting all cylinders, I would suspect either a spark plug or the ignition modules. However, since all cylinders are experiencing occasional misfires, I can't quite believe that.
Can anyone help with this?
Best regards, Roland

Does anyone have any tips for me regarding this?

a trial:
Hey, you're in the diesel forum - some people here have a hard time with gasoline engines.
If you have an oscilloscope, I would suggest checking the ignition voltage waveforms, but why for all cylinders?
Engine temperature sensor? Is there moisture? Are the spark plugs okay? Otherwise, no other ideas!! Gruß, der Teileklaus

Hello,
Checking the engine temperature readings in the measurement data blocks when the engine is cold might be a good idea.
Best regards, Rainer.

I've now checked the engine temperature sensor using VAGCOM. The temperature was okay at the start of the measurement (cold engine), but it rose to 33°C when the ignition was switched on. I then replaced the sensor, but the same behavior occurred with a cold engine and the ignition on.
Could this be a clue?
The spark plugs are new now. The vacuum system and pressure hoses are okay. Roland

Hello,
Can you use air-fuel ratio adjustments or lambda values to determine if the mixture is too lean or too rich?
Best regards, Rainer.

Take a look at the ignition coil amplifier modules; it sounds like that's the problem -> on the S4, they are located near the air filter.
