I got a Concert II+ radio from a B7 and installed it in my B6. The radio works fine so far. However, the radio is currently coded for BOSE without a CD changer.

Can someone tell me the coding for my vehicle, or the possible coding options?

Edit: Concert III is now Concert II+ ^^

What is the VAG part number for the Concert?

Best regards, Rainer.

That's because the Concert 2+ is different from the Concert 3, which is installed in the newer B8 (A4) models.
and you definitely won't get that running in a B6 icon_smile.gif.

Regarding the coding list:

Yes, that's correct. It's a Concert II+ model.

Thank you for the list.

Okay, I've now installed the thing and entered the code (0020222), but now a different problem has cropped up.

The radio reception is absolutely terrible. With the older Symphony II, there were a few minor issues, but only in areas with poor signal. When it comes to the coding, the last digit indicates the region; "2" according to Rosstech refers to North America. I tried "1" for Europe, but the radio doesn't accept it.

I also have the error "Antenna 2 (R93) - Interruption" stored in the error memory.

I read online that in the Concert II+ model, the radio selects the antenna, while in the Concert II or Symphony II models, the antenna amplifier is located at the rear. In my C II+, I found a connector labeled "DI-Sens." What does this connector do? Is it responsible for antenna selection?

Edit:

Update: I've read that Generation II+ requires two RF signals, while Generation II only provides one RF signal and one IF signal. Additionally, I've read that I need a new antenna amplifier (from the B7). What is the part number for that amplifier, and do I also need to run a DI-Sens cable to the rear?

fahre mal in nen Car-Hifi-Geschäft und lasse dir ne Phantomeinspeisung geben, dann ist dein Problem erledigt. It is known.

It plugs into the back of the radio, and I believe it also connects to the ground. It's amazing how well it receives signals. Some radios require this.

Is it a good shop? They'll help you right away.

Cost approximately: 10-12 euros.

Edit:

Okay, I haven't heard anything about that yet. :-/

This is an original radio, so it should work fine.

"However, I'll check again to see if the radio still has phantom power or not. It's possible that this was changed in the B7 model, and it's being powered externally again."
