Engine Control Unit (ECU) Not Responding.

With my Audi A4 TDI, equipped with the AFN engine, I am unable to access the engine control unit, even though I was able to read it without any problems using the same hardware about two months ago.
What I need to say is that when I press the "Engine Control Unit Mileage" button, the engine control unit is found (but the mileage cannot be determined because the ECU probably doesn't store this information).
How is it that it works in one mode, but reading data is not possible?
I've also tried reinstalling VAG-COM, but it didn't help.
I have the VAG-COM/OBD2 professional diagnostic system KKL+CAN (USB).

Please describe exactly what's not working and what the error message says. Ideally, provide a Screenshot of what's working and what's not.

Did you install an aftermarket radio? It might not be working properly because of that. You should probably try turning it off or pulling the fuse. I've had this problem before too.
