Hello Schauber,
'My automatic transmission makes a whistling noise when I release the accelerator, and it's been doing that for about 60,000 kilometers. It's hard to notice under load, but it might be howling then too.' It worked perfectly.
'However, recently a problem has emerged that is causing me more concern. When I start the car, it almost reaches 30 km/h in idle speed, even though the idle speed in neutral is within the normal range.' If I brake suddenly, there's a brief, unusual noise that occurs, which then disappears when I brake more forcefully or when the vehicle is under load again. (This grinding noise can also be interpreted as a loud squealing.)
Is my first gear disengaged? Am I the only one with this kind of experience? Where is the problem, and how can it be fixed? (The transmission oil was changed at approximately 160,000 km to eliminate the whistling noises, but without success.)
I look forward to your responses.
Best regards, Christian. |
