Hello.
I read the engine control unit today using VAG-COM because I'm having problems with my car.
The following error codes were stored in the memory:
2 errors found:
01050 - Fuel quantity control servo motor (V117)
31-10 - Intermittent interruption or short circuit to ground.
01204 - Relay for Climatronic (J254)
30-10 - Intermittent fault or short circuit after the positive terminal.
I was able to clear the error codes. However, I haven't done a test drive yet after clearing them. Could it be that the car is running better now?
And what do these errors mean?
Regarding error number two, I can add that I don't have a Climatronic system.
'Could someone please tell me what these errors are called, or where I can find information about them?'
Thank you,
Best regards,
Mark
P.S. The car is a Golf III, manufactured in 1997, with a 1.9L engine, code AAZ, and a turbo diesel (not a TDI!).

Hello:
1050: Glow plug monitoring, defect, interruption, or short circuit.
1204: Sensor for engine temperature, defective, open circuit, or short circuit (engine always overheats).
P.S. I saw in your profile that you're a car mechanic. Which brands do you work on? Tschüss
