Hello everyone,
After replacing the timing belt on a 1.4 TDI 75 HP, year 2002, engine code AMF, with 88,000 km, I have some questions regarding the target values and actual values.
"Idling fuel trim for cylinders 1-3 (in mg/H): target -2.8 to +2.8, actual value 5 to 23 at idle (I need to check this again with VAG-COM)."
The duration of the boost, in weeks, should be between 4 and 7, and the value is 5.
"Förderbegin" should be in °v.OT and should be 3..9, which is 9.3.
Should I re-take the test, or does it not matter? See:
/viewtopic.php?t=5408
Is the knocking sound during idling due to adjustable valve timing, or are the piston domes (PDs) faulty (if the deviation is correct)?
I installed the timing belt using crankshaft and camshaft timing marks.
The camshaft bearing was significantly out of specification.
Could this be the cause of an earlier start to the subsidy?
Thank you for your replies.
Hello, greetings!
