We replaced the glow plug yesterday, but unfortunately, the problem is still there.
Does anyone have any ideas about this?
Sure, no problem. Here's the translation:

It's probably obvious, but has the error memory been cleared already? Otherwise, connect a multimeter and check where the problem lies.
Was ist mit der "richtigen" GK passiert? / Has the "correct" GK already been installed?
Best regards, Rainer.

Yes, it was the correct candle.
I cleared the memory, but after a diagnostic test of the actuators, the error reappeared in the memory, and then a few days later, the emissions warning light came on.
Okay, then we'll start measuring things and maybe swap some parts; hopefully the new one will work.
Are there any other typical mistakes that occur there?
How are the candles controlled? Directly from the main system (MSG), or does it have its own control unit for that purpose? Audi A5 B8 Cabrio 2.0 TFSI/CNCD 225PS

Possibly, the glow plug control unit is faulty.
The question is, what exactly does "electrical fault in the circuit" mean? It could indicate a failure of the main control unit, a short circuit to ground, or an open circuit.
Try using a different GSK and see what error message appears.
Best regards, Rainer.

Yes, it's a little embarrassing, but I'm going to write it down anyway.
Upon inquiry, I was told that cylinder 1 is the one at the front near the timing belt, but that's actually cylinder 4.
Yesterday, I disconnected the connectors from both cylinder heads to the belt, and that's when I discovered that I had 3 "faulty" glow plugs.
Okay, so I guess I'll probably replace the spark plug on the rear cylinder, near the injection nozzle; that might solve the problem. *g*
Should I do them all at once? I've heard different opinions about it so far.

Just to reiterate, Cylinder 4 corresponds to the first timing belt pulley, correct?

Okay... I replaced all the glow plugs in my AJM engine a few days ago.
- Engine: 2 out of 4 defective.
- Glow plug heater: 3 out of 3 defective.
Generally speaking, I've found that in almost every vehicle, at least two components have failed after approximately 180,000 km or 5-8 years, and it's even possible for this to happen sooner.
My advice: if one fails, replace them all. 3B5 AJM

I only replaced it once at 70,000 km (although it was a 5-volt spark plug, specifically the GE 100 for a Touran). GruĂ, der Teileklaus

That's what the error memory told me when I removed the spark plug connectors (specifically, the two front ones, as they were easiest to reach).
Then cylinders 1, 3, and 4 were identified as faulty.
I'd be happy to test that again. Audi A5 B8 Cabrio 2.0 TFSI/CNCD 225PS
