Clima Flap Motor V71: Location & Troubleshooting

Hello,

My air conditioning system (A6, manufactured in 1996, engine AAT, automatic) is displaying an error message indicating that the servo motor for the V71 flap is either blocked or without power.
Where is this valve? Is it located inside the car or in the engine compartment? What's the best way to access it?

Hello,

The actuator motor for the back pressure valve is located under the water tank in the engine compartment, on the passenger side. It is mounted under a cover secured with two screws. Underneath the cover, you will find the actuator motor, which is also secured with two screws.
Please also check the wiring of the actuator motor.
