Ibiza 2000: Time Warp Error

The other day, I had a strange issue with the dashboard... I parked the car normally, then came back later, got in, and there was no key in the ignition, so it was completely "off," as if it had been turned off. All the displays were normal, showing 0 (e.g., fuel, water, etc.). BUT:

The seatbelt warning light and the WFS (Window Folding System) light are constantly illuminated... and my seatbelt warning system is not activated.


So, I put the key in, turned the ignition on, then off, and the strange behavior stopped.


It hasn't reappeared yet, and I'm worried that the speedometer might now decide to retire after reaching 200,000 km.


Currently, there are some issues with Eblöd, which is why I'm asking what you think - should I continue to monitor the situation, or should I buy a new one for 50 euros just in case?

It's hard to say, but it could be a subtle mass defect, cold solder joints, or even a problem with the power supply.

Okay, I'll observe this for now. If the error memory of the control unit remains empty for 4 weeks (meaning no errors have been stored) and no warning lights come on, I'll leave it as is. If the error reappears, I'll start investigating.

It would be interesting to know if anyone here has experienced something similar with a Polo 6N2 or an Ibiza from 1999-2002 and can offer a crucial tip for troubleshooting.
