Hi,
I'm at my wit's end: My 2004 Bora TDI Estate (with the 150hp ARL engine) currently has a faulty intercooler.
It's probably not a big deal.
It's just annoying that I can't find a matching part in the accessories.
The part number is 1J0.145.803.H (this is the FMIC component, which is located at the front of the vehicle and includes the condenser and water cooler). Therefore, the dimensions are 625x410x5 cm.
I've already received the wrong radiator twice from different parts suppliers, even though I provided the part numbers and the key number (0603 647).
No matter where I inquire using the part number, the guys always come up with the small standard LLK (the thing mounted on the side with dimensions 183x190x85 ;-( ).
Is this part only available from the original manufacturer, VW? Or does anyone know of a supplier for this long-life coolant?
It is also often used to 'enhance' the performance of smaller engines. X
Thank you very much for your information and greetings to everyone outside.
Apparently, even Valeo, as an OE (Original Equipment) manufacturer, is unable to correctly assign the part number.
EDIT: Even in the Valeo TecDoc database, the "small" LLK (low-loss current limiter) is listed for the ARL (automatic relay).

Perhaps for everyone's information:
If you need a charge air cooler (intercooler) with part number 1J0.145.803.H, and you try to find it as an accessory, it won't work!
All the spare parts dealers I contacted listed the wrong LLK (the small side part) under the given number (and also under the car's part numbers) – it seems there's a general error in all the spare parts catalogs.
I've now ordered the spare part directly from VW - I hope I get the right one. X
